In bed with the Sun King, mademoiselles, mistresses and wives of Louis XIV – Party like 1660

In bed with the Sun King, mademoiselles, mistresses and wives of Louis XIV

New publication alarm. Hurray. A while ago, some of you asked me if I could do a bundle of my mistress articles and make it available as e-book. I did just that and you can now get it for your Kindle devices or on your Kindle apps.

What is it about? Louis XIV had a lot of mistresses. Some of them were brief crushes, others lasted longer and to some he returned again and again. I wrote articles, of various length, about some of those. It is impossible to tell how many mistresses he had exactly, but the ones that are known make quite the list. As requested, the fabulous Jules Harper and I took all the articles, rewrote them a little, added things here and there that are not part of the articles and put them into a format pleasant to the eye. Jules also created a rather lovely cover for the whole thing and we uploaded it to Amazon.

In bed with the Sun King is thus available at your local Amazon Kindle shops. (Click here for Amazon UK, US, DE, FR.) You can download it worldwide for any Kindle device or if you don’t have a Kindle, you can also read it on your phone, tablet, laptop and so on by downloading the free Kindle app.

Now this is an Amazon exclusive, which means you can only get it there… but since it is an Amazon exclusive it also means you can get it for free if you have Kindle Unlimited…and if you don’t have Kindle Unlimited, you can test it for free for one month. (If you are in the UK, just click here.)

Make sure to let me know how you like it and also if you want me to bundle other articles as well.

A triumph over everything splendid – concerning the beauty of the book… how it informs; inspires; illuminates… the past, the present, the future. It as a debt owed to read the labours of someone so lost, yet found, in such a glorious century…as the 17th.

It is with fondness, I find time to express my appreciations, of others whom exhibit such a numinous nature…

Perhaps, what Louis might of said…;-)
