Adieu 2016….

2016 is nearly over, I presume it is already in some parts of the world as I write this, and I want to take a moment to thank all my readers for their support. Party Like 1660 is a bit over a year old now and steadily growing. I have to admit it grows a little slower at times than I personally like, not in matters of views, but me writings new articles. I try to deliver more next year, but you know how it is… there is always something else to do. My ‘something else’ is/are two book projects, of which one will hopefully be published in the nearest future. The other will take a while longer to finish and I shan’t say what it is yet.

So… what is planned for here? I promised something on the kitchens of Versailles and dining at court, which will be posted soon. Louise de La Vallière will finally get her own article and along with it, we shall talk about some things she was involved in. There will the more ado about Versailles too. Hurray. I promised to have a close look at the trailer for season two as soon as it is out and do my guessing on what will we see in the next season based on what happened at court during this time. I don’t know about you, but I can’t wait for the trailer.

Thank you all for your support and thank you for reading my scribblings. It means a lot to me. I like to specially thank and send a round of cuddles to Jules, Edwinne, Vanessa, Mandy and Rebecca for keeping me sane during the not so pleasant moments of 2016.
